The hit series which has taken over the internet just released a bonus episode in the early morning of Easter Sunday, April 12. This extra tiger king episode catches up with most of the cast, checking in on what they are up to now, as well as getting their thoughts on the show and how they were portrayed. This 8th episode of the tiger king is hosted by actor/comedian Joel McHale, who has individual facetimes with the main characters from the Tiger King. Erik Cowie Tiger King new episode:
Surprisingly, Erik Cowie admits that he has not watched Tiger King because he has been very buys at work. He says the worst part about working at the zoo was witnessing the cats being euthanized. He says that he was used as a distraction to calm the cats down before they were euthanized. When asked where his loyalties lie between the cats and Joe, Erik says the cats. He also doesn’t like being compared to the Mötley Crüe, claiming they are too plastic. Erik is frustrated with the fans that have been making memes about him and assuming that he had a drug problem. Erik says that he doesn’t use drugs and no longer has a drinking problem. He says f u to all the people inferring that he does.
Jeff Lowe Tiger King new episode:
Jeff Lowe says they are trying to keep the tigers at least 6 meters from each other during the coronavirus, but admits that he hears love making sounds at night. Jeff says that the new nanny is working out great. He says that the show made him out to be a villain. He says the reason people always have bad dealings with him is because they come to him when they are in a lot of trouble. He says that his long time friend Alan is the sweetest hitman. He was shocked by the Alan bathtub scene. He and his wife have watched the Tiger King one time. Jeff says that he wears leather jackets because of the tigers claws. Jeff Lowe also insinuates that James Garretson has a lot of skeletons in his closet, which is why he cooperated with the feds. He strongly thinks Carole Baskin killed her ex husband. He is also awestruck by Carole and Howard’s wedding photos.
John Reinke Tiger King new episode:
John Reinke says he doesn’t feel like a famous star. He says the he is more committed to animals because animals don’t give you any crap. John says the Joe liked to belittle people and they got into a lot of verbal fights. John says that the cameras got to Joe’s head. John claims that Joe blew up his cabin and his golf cart. John says he didn’t get along with Jeff. He also says that Jeff and Dillon got into a fist fight. John doesn’t think that this legal battle is over and expects that he will have to go back to testify in court. He wants Matthew Mcconahuey to portray him in the movie.
Saff Tiger King new episode:
One of the most loyal and well liked characters on the show, Saff says it is weird now being recognized by everyone in public. He tells a story of being in Walmart and getting approached by a bunch of fans. Saff was outraged by the shooting of tigers, and never thought that tigers should be kept in cages. One of the biggest controversies of the show was people on the internet complaining that Saff was misgendered. Saff says that it did not bother him at all. Saff says she has no regrets about losing her arm and admits that she was watched the scene a bunch of times. She says she would trust that tiger again before she trusted Joe. Saff says that the Netflix show didn’t show enough good sides of Joe. She says that they skipped over the Thanksgiving meal that Joe and his family made every year and fed people for free. Saff would like to be cast by Johnny Tsunami.
Josh Dial Tiger King new episode:
Josh says that the documentary was balanced and accurate. He say that the truth hurts. Josh Dial’s first impression of Joe was that he was bat shit crazy, but that is what attracted him to work there. He says the best part about living in the zoo was waking up to the lions roar in the morning. Josh says that Joe never made a move on him, claiming that Joe only liked younger men. Josh says it was very hard returning to the office where Travis accidently killed himself. Josh wishes that he had received counselling. Josh says that he could see in Travis’ eyes that he did not mean to kill himself. Josh claims that Carole Baskin’s sanctuary is the same thing as Joe’s zoo, and says that all animal people are the same, they just want money. Josh Dial says he does not do drugs, and it is annoying when people speculate that he does. Josh Dial repeats his infamous line “Fuck the Feds.”
John Finlay Tiger King new episode:
The biggest change about John Finlay is his new teeth, which he says it took a while to get used to. John Finlay says his new tattoo is now finished and it completely covers the old one of Joe. John is annoyed with the people dissing his tattoo artist and says he will reveal his new tattoo soon. John says there was a lot of hook ups at the zoo. John says that Joe is not actually the one who sings his songs. John says that he and his fiancé binge watched the show right when it came out. John says he hasn’t touched a drug since his daughter was born, and he is not happy that he was portrayed as a drugged-out hillbilly. John says that he was shirtless a lot on the show because he liked to show off his tattoos.
Rick Kirkham Tiger King new episode:
Rick Kirkham moved to Norway to get as far away from Oklahoma as he could. He fell in love with a Norwegian woman who he lives with now. Rick says that Tiger King is very popular in Norway, and shows a large picture of himself on the front page of the newspaper. He says that everyone in Norway recognizes him in public. Rick says that he knew the zoo would have a downfall after being there for only 3 months. Rick says that Joe treated the animals poorly and says that he saw Joe shoot two tigers to make more space for smaller cubs. Rick also claims that Joe shot and killed a lady’s horse and fed it to the lions. Rick says that Joe is mad because other people are getting a lot of attention and opportunity while he is stuck in jail. Rick claims that Joe exotic was terrified of big cats. Rick says that one of the good things about the show is that it is raising awareness for exotic animals and helps the “free the animals” campaign. Rick Kirkham says he would like to be casted by Billy Bob Thorton.
