iFetch too interactive ball launcher for dogs

The ifetch too ball launcher is by far one of the most advanced and popular automatic fetch toys available today. The first ifetch product was launched in 2013 and featured small balls that shot out of the machine for your dog to fetch. While the original ifetch gained a lot of popularity, it still had its fair share of flaws. The biggest barrier was the the ifetch was only availiible for small dogs, as the small balls were a choking hazard for bigger dogs. Thus, ifetch ramped up its design and recently released the ifetch too.

Here is a picture of the ifetch too right when I took it out of the box. As you can see, the machine came with 3 balls and a wall adapter. One of the best upgrades with the Ifetch too is that it comes with a rechargeable battery. This means you can charge it in the wall and then take it outside without having to pay for extra batteries. I bought this product so my dog could play fetch outside, and the battery lasts multiple hours on a full charge which is great.

How to train dog to use ifetch

Training your dog to use ifetch should be pretty easy, especially if your dog has experience playing fetch. It only took me around 30 minutes to train my dog to use the ifetch. Obviously, the biggest challenge is teaching your dog to return the ball to the machine. It took my dog a while to learn that he needs to put the ball back in the machine and not in my hand. I taught him by handing him a treat right above the ifetch so that he learned to drop the ball in the machine. Additionally, it is important that you teach your dog to drop the ball in the machine from the backside so that it doesn’t shoot out and hit him. I recommend putting the ifetch on the shortest setting (10 feet) while your dog is learning, just in case it happens to hit him. You should know that the ifetch shoots the ball essentially right after it is dropped. Therefore, if your dog drops the ball from the back or either side (anywhere but the front) he/she will not get hit by the ball.

How far does the iFetch launch the ball

The ifetch too has 3 distance settings (10 feet, 15 feet, and 40 feet). I would say the actual distance is a couple feet shorter but that doesn’t matter. My golden retriever is very active and enjoys the highest setting of 40 feet.

iFetch Dimensions

The ifetch uses balls that are the same size as tennis balls which are 2.5 inches in diameter.

Where to buy iFetch

The cheapest place to buy ifetch is on Amazon. At the moment, there is a current sale where you can buy ifetch on Amazon for only $199. It also comes with a 1 year warranty and free shipping.
