As you can see, the litter pieces are big enough to where they don’t get stuck under your cat’s paws. I was using track free litter before using this product, but I can confidently say that tofu litter is also 100% track free. The litter never left the litter box which is a huge advantage. I would strongly recommend tofu litter to anyone who is struggling with litter being tracked throughout the house.

The litter performed well at absorbing waste. Urine was soaked up quickly by the tofu litter and I never had to scrape the sides of the litter box to clean. Poop was also contained pretty well by the tofu litter. I believe this tofu cat litter contained the odor so well because it is composed of naturally scented odor control. This Green Tea smell masks just about all of the foul odor from the cat waste.

I think tofu litter is most effective in litter boxes that are made of stainless steel, as they make it much easier to scoop out the used litter. I personally use this stainless steel litter box.

After reviewing other forms of tofu litter, we saw great reviews of Nourse tofu litter. While Nourse tofu litter is cleaner and safer than other forms of other cat litter, the only downside is that it only comes in bags of 6 and 12 pounds, so you can’t buy it in bulk.

Disposing Tofu Cat Litter

One of my favorite aspects of tofu cat litter is the disposal. Since Tofu Cat litter is 100% biodegradable, disposing of the used litter is very easy. This means that you can simply flush the litter down the toilet and be done with it. I flushed mine down the toilet and had no issues with clogging. This made litter box maintenance extremely quick and easy. I did not try this, but since Tofu Litter is biodegradable, it can be used as a fertilizer in your garden. Regardless of how you dispose of the tofu litter, it is a great decision for the environment!

Along with the environment, Tofu Cat litter very safe for your cat. Since tofu is made from plants, it is all natural and cannot cause any harm to you or your cat. Tofu litter is 99% dust free, which prevents many respiratory issues caused by clay litters. I did not experience any issues with dust, but I have seen some reviews online that complain about the dust in their tofu litter. I assume that it depends on the quality and brand of Tofu Litter. If your cat ingests tofu cat litter, it passes safely through the digestive system.
