Litter Genie Reviews

After hearing countless reviews about the Litter Genie, I decided to give it a try myself. Litter Genie prides itself in being the number 1 cat litter disposable, and I was eager to see if it lived up to the hype. Apparently, the Litter Genie bags lock away germs and other odors from cat waste, and can store the waste for up to two weeks before releasing any sort of smell. Here is my review: 

Opening Litter Genie

I’m going to be honest, when I first hopen up the Litter Genie box, I was a bit over whelmed. The bag seemed extra long and I was a bit confused about where to go from here.   However, the top of the litter genie and the bag fit perfectly into the rest of the box. All I had to do was push the bag down into the lower part of the box and then it was all settled. It looked much more neat after I had attached the top piece and the bag to the rest of the box.  

 After the box was set up, all I had to do was wait for my cats to do their business. After they pooped in their litter box, I simply put the waste into the Litter Genie. After a week, the bag was about half full, and to my surprise, I couldnt smell a thing. The only time I could smell anything was when I opened the Litter Genie. However, the second I closed the lid the smell would go away. After 16 days, the bag got completely full. At this point, I started to smell my cats waste. Considering that Litter Genie claims to conceal for two weeks, I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth.

All in all, I definitely feel like Litter Genie was worth it. It saved me the hassle of having to constantly dispose of my cat’s cat waste, and it did so without a foul smell. Additionally, the plastic bags from Litter Genie are environmentally friendly, which is just another reason why I believe this is a great product.
